Your privacy and safety are our priority. We don’t track you, use cookies, or involve any third parties. The one thing we can’t switch off is the ordinary access log our host keeps for about a month — so we tell you it’s there rather than claim it isn’t. We’ve designed the site with accessibility first. Our mission
Your organisation puts people first. Websites drift: helpful features get added, promises age. We take an independent look at what your site’s privacy, safety and accessibility controls provide for vulnerable people. In the near future you’ll be able to review your own website in-house, with our application — free to use, for good.
The gap
Websites can make it easier for visitors to make informed choices about their privacy, safety and accessibility. Standards exist, but these are left for individual organisations to apply — and that can be challenging for a wide range of reasons. Until a consensus is reached, we address this gap.

Your site says little about privacy or accessibility, and nobody has checked what it does. Most websites probably live here without knowing it.
Written once
You have a privacy statement, maybe a cookie notice — but they’re a couple of years old, and nobody has compared them with what the site does now.
True on the day
Your statements are current, and what the site does matches what they say — on the day somebody last looked.
Kept true
Someone owns this. The site is checked again after changes, the statements move when the site moves, and a visitor with a problem has a named door to knock on.
Lived
Care for your visitors survives staff changes and supplier changes. Checking is routine, not a project — the promise and the site stay one thing.
What we look for
We use current best practice as our starting point — we build on this to give you a balanced view of your position. We look at three areas:
- Privacy: is visitor information shared?
- Safety: is a visitor put at risk?
- Accessibility: can every visitor use the site?
What you get
A report: a snapshot of what we found, written for you. The findings show how to fix the things we found.
A conversation. We start by talking about where you are, what your thoughts are, and what you want out of the workshop. We look at the report together — if something’s not clear, we can help clear it up. The result: you have the information to make informed choices to get to where you want your site to be.

Path 1
You are an organisation in Sussex, serving vulnerable people. We’re looking to work with you as part of our development — you’ll get all you need to make informed choices.
Path 2
You’re part of a sector-wide organisation. We’d love to have a conversation first of all — part of our research is developing sector-wide surveys, to help provide a leg up for sector MI dashboards. Or you’re interested in the theory, methodology and design of our application. We’re open to all and any suggestions at this stage.
Path 3
Your organisation is in Sussex — you’re interested in workshops to help your staff make their own informed choices when using the internet.

None of the above? We’re open to all ideas. You know your organisation, and your thoughts, feedback and participation will help not only you but others as well. Get that nice warm glow.
Where this is going
I have a vision: a world where organisations that serve vulnerable people have websites that are private, safe and accessible to all. All this leads to a clear picture of where a site stands, for the people who own it. Everything we’re doing is voluntary and we hope to work with organisations that also think the same. During the development phase, all our learning will be going into the application development and workshop structure.
We expect our application to launch in the first quarter of 2027.
About me
I’m Keiron Northmore, supported by former colleagues and friends who lend their expertise. I spent thirty years in cyber security and governance — most of it paid to worry about what attackers do to organisations and their websites. After leaving the Bank of England I decided to give something back. Two years of research found the gap. It was surprising. It seems to be an honest oversight.
